The birches and the rainbow early morning at school, March 2010

First snow December 2009
The snow and the chill is brand new. Living at the westcoast means usually that you have snow for 3 hours or at the very outmost for 3 days. So I go skiing every day.

Hauty and regal, December 2009
The skitracks are still excellent. X-mas holiday. I go skiing almost every day.

Wolfs wood I, December 2009, and I am experimenting with flashlight.
A wolf was seen this winter in this area. In the summer there where 5 puppies born about 6 km away. All survived. I wonder what it will become of them. Nice and "well behaving" wolfs or sheep murders? So far there is very little complains about them. Perhaps they are scared enough to stay away from humans.

Wolfs wood II December 2009
There is a "murder" downhill slope back to the house. At this time there was plenty of snow retarding the skis. But soon this slope turned into an icy zig-zag track. No matter how hard I pulled the breaks - it was still too fast. I actually pulled off my skiis and ran downhills. Streching my arms and shoulder with help of the weights.

Arne's meadow January 2010
Arne is a neighbour and farmer. His meadows are forbidden area for all kids around. But wintertime you may use them for playing around on skis.
The temperature has now been below -15 degrees for a long time changing the structure of the snow. Its sparkling everywhere. The nightruns was magic. Imagine those crystals with a flashlight on.

The Manor - but not ours, our new neigbour. Built in 2008

The backyard January 2010
This little house is supposed to become a guest house. But it never learns how to build itself. Thats really sad.
Just 500 meters form this building (and our house) a wolf was seen this autumn. A friend saw it heading towards the farmer that has plenty of hens and ducks.

Arne's meadow 5 February 2010
It´s now
40 cm sno and -1 degree. Our very own skitracks are destroyed by 20 cm more snow. But the animal still use them. The new snowon top is fresh and a bit damp. It haven´t crystallized yet.

Old cars 5 February 2010
This light is really hard. Pictures tend to be underexposed. I know all about this but since the light is so strong that I cannot judge the result on the display. All pictures are looking to dark on the display. Thanks Good for Photoshop!

The hare, 5 February 2010
I would love to go skiing today. But a virus persuades me to take it easy, Instead I brought a thermos and took a walk. I drank my coffe in 40 cm snow on the hill right of this picture. In the shaddow....I wanted to enjoy the sight of the house.

On the tram after the blizzard, Gothenburg 3 february 2010
It came about 15 cm snow the day and night before.
Temperature is -1 degree Celcius which means that everything becomes very dirty very quickly.

My car 3 february 2010
They said it would snow all that day while I was at Gothenburg. But it wasn´t worse then this
when I got back to the station late that evening. But since the temperature had fallen rapidly
there was hard ice everywhere. Ice on the car means about 5-10 minutes delay every time you need to drive. And when
it gets around -15 my car is really hard to start up. It´s a brand new diesel but that doesn´t matter.

Ah - I forgot to focus, Coal miners lamps ski expedition January 2010
